The 21/90 rule, for example, will help you form a habit and make it a permanent part of your life.

The 21/90 rule

According to the 21/90 law, it takes 21 days to form a habit and 90 days to create a lasting lifestyle change. Make a 21-day commitment to a personal or professional goal. The achievement of that objective should have become a habit after three weeks. You keep doing it for another ninety days once you’ve developed the habit. If you can stick with it for three weeks, then three months, it will become a habit, and then a permanent part of your lifestyle.

This rule can be applied to any habit you choose to develop. It may be anything as easy as driving a car, drinking a hot beverage, journaling, or just exercising every day. The 21/90 rule is a perfect way to add something good to your life if you can develop discipline and stick to it every day.

How to Build Good Habits with 21/90 Rule:

Setting goals

The next move is to set a target after agreeing on the improvement you want to make. For example, how you want to put it into practice, how you want to progress, and what is the best time for you. When setting a target, be sure to think critically and take small steps at first.

Do not rush; instead, sit quietly and consider the significance of making the change in your life. Exercise and meditation, for example, would provide me with a balanced body, happiness, and inner peace. To achieve the target, I will get up early in the morning and divide the time slots into manageable chunks. Think, set goals, and follow the 21 90 rule in the same way.

Make a checklist

Once you’ve set your goals, make a checklist, or simply a plan list, with all of the details about how you want to get started and how you want to put your goals into action.

Focus

Make sure your decisions and emphasis are constructive. Allow no negative energy to join.

Commit

Commit yourself that you will not stop until and unless you reach the goal and achieve something good.

Never give up

During the process, there are going to be various obstacles, remember to not give up and never leave the process. You can really slow down the speed and take a little break, but never give up on the process and keep on moving forward.

Whenever you feel low or feel like giving up the process… achieve more that day and give a treat to yourself. Or you can just appreciate yourself for coming this forward.
